Speirō | Growing in Leadership

“You will always harvest what you plant.” These words from the apostle Paul in Galatians 6 are powerful—you reap what you sow. Speirō is the Greek word meaning “to sow,” and it represents our eight-month leadership program for young men and women in their early to mid-twenties.

We think that during this season of life, it is vital to sow seeds of godliness and growth in your own soul and in the local church. Participants in Speirō work full-time jobs in the community, and they also give eight to ten hours a week serving in one of our ministry areas. Along with their serving, participants attend classes once a week that are designed to help further the individual’s self-awareness, grow their leadership capacity, and to assist in deepening their faith as a believer.

This year, 23 young people are participating in Speirō. What an exciting opportunity to invest in the next generation of believers! We hope you will join us in praying for these men and women and those who are discipling them.
